Cure Autism Now Invites You to WALK NOW!
Los Angeles
WALK NOW, Cure Autism Now’s community fundraising and awareness event, may be coming to a city near you. The event is a 5K walk, resource fair and family fun festival. More than that, it’s an opportunity to come together and share the goals of finding the causes, effective treatments and a cure, while feeling the support of the families and organizations that are affected by autism. Sign up to walk or volunteer at one of these upcoming events:
· Seattle: September 25, 2005 at Safeco Field
· New York: October 1, 2005 at Palisades Mall
· Philadelphia: October 1, 2005 at Citizens Bank Park
· San Francisco: October 8, 2005 at Bay Meadows Race Track
· Baltimore/Washington, DC: October 15, 2005 at FedExField
· Houston: October 29, 2005 at Reliant Park Astrodome
· San Diego: November 5, 2005 at Vacation Isle, Mission Bay
· Orange County: November 12, 2005 at Hidden Valley
(adjacent to Wild Rivers)
· Orlando: November 19, 2005 at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex
There is no fee to participate, although participants are encouraged to set a fundraising goal of $150. Participants who reach that goal receive a free WALK NOW T-shirt.
